WF Iceland will organize for its volunteers reasonably-priced weekend excursions with professional drivers to some of the most popular, beautiful areas and natural wonders that Iceland has to offer.

Excursions include unique Icelandic sights, such as waterfalls, volcanic and geothermal areas, glaciers, lava forests, hot-springs, rhyolite mountain ranges, steam-vents or even icebergs.

The road conditions can be very difficult to handle during the wintertime and therefore we we recommend our volunteers to go for those tours instead of renting cars. For this tours you need to pay an extra fee, so it is not included in the workcamp fee.
